We’ll Bring the Zoo to You!
We provide programs for schools, scout groups, libraries, senior groups, daycares and other community organizations. Choose from one of our available programs or can adapt a program or develop a new one to fit your group’s specific needs (fees vary based on length and topic of program).
Live animals are part of our programs. For groups of 10-30, audience participants can touch select animals. For groups larger than 30, we can bring live animals for the audience to observe, but not to touch. Photos are always welcome.
Note: Extreme weather conditions can restrict our ability to bring live animals to you, as the health and well-being of our animals is our top priority. If we are not able to bring a live animal die to weather conditions, then we will work with you to reschedule or issue a refund for the program.
Also, due to the needs of the animals, we cannot guarantee a specific animal species will be available for your program. All animals presented will be appropriate for the program content chosen.
School Outreach Program
We offer outreach programs for school groups with a 30-mile radius of the Zoo. We strive to inspire students about eh wonders of our earth and the animals we share it with. For childcare facilities, we required that adult/child ratios be maintained at all times during the program. Our school outreach programs cover life science themes. Each program is designed to be appropriate for the age group receiving the program.
Brights Zoo offers programs for community groups, including libraries, scout groups, and camps. Each program offers education content, live animal interactions, and may include various objects from the animal world. For childcare facilities, we require that adult/child ratios be maintained at all times during the program.
For science or career night at schools, or a community event you would like the Zoo to attend. We can set up a booth with crats, biofacts and other interesting materials. These programs are custom-designed to meet your needs.
Adult Outreach Program
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the Zoo, and we can bring the Zoo to you. Brights Zoo delivers adult outreach programs to libraries, senior centers, and various other community groups. Each program offers educational content, live animal interaction, and various objects from the animal world.
Many of our programs were designed mainly for school groups but are appropriate for all ages and audiences. Most of our programs can be adapted for large groups and we customize each program to meet your organization’s needs.
