Brights zoo is closed for the season and we will reopen in early March 2021. Thank you for a wonderful season and have a happy holidays!

2020 Boo at the Zoo

As we all know and understand Covid19 has affected events across the globe.   While the normal trick or treating may not happen in many places this year, Brights Zoo is working on plans to hold our annual Boo at the Zoo in a new form.      Unfortunately, we cannot do our normal trick or treat station and game stations.    What we can offer is a great opportunity to visit the zoo and make sure that kids get to leave with a bag full of candy.

Brights Zoo will have two sessions on Saturday October 31st.    The first session will start at 10:00 am and end at 1:00 pm.   The zoo will close from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in order to sanitize everything.   The next session will start at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm.

You MUST attend during the session time for the ticket you purchase, you cannot switch to another session due to the limit of 300 people in the Zoo.

Ticket Prices

Members can pre purchase tickets for $7.00 (tax included).

Non-members can pre purchase tickets for $12.00 tax included.

Ticket purchases are required for ages 3 and up.

Children two under are free, but will still be counted toward our maximum total of 300 visitors per session. Please request a ticket for your 2 and under child when you purchase an adult ticket.

Once the 300 ticket allotment for each session are sold, pre-sales tickets will end.

No other discounts are offered for these tickets – price shown is the only price available.

To explain the time slots in more detail:

If you have a ticket for the 1st time slot of 10:00 to 1:00, remember the Zoo will close at 1:00 pm and all guests will be asked to exit the Zoo.   So, please be sure to allow at least 1 and half hours to visit the zoo.

Brights Zoo will still have the zoo decorated for the event.    The annual pumpkin carving contest as well as our costume contests for different age groups will still take place.

Kids 12 and under will receive a bag of candy as they exit the zoo.

Door Prizes:

Door prize drawings will occur during each session.

Pumpkin Carving Contest:

Guests can drop their pumpkin off upon check in and will be judged at the end of the day.

Costume Contest:

We will photo anyone wishing to participate in the costume contest and contact winners the day after the event.

Animal Enrichment:

Some animal enrichment activities will be scheduled for each session

“Guesstimation” Game:

Guess how many pieces are in the jar – winner announced the next day.
